I’ve been sitting here trying to find the words… and truthfully, I’m still a little emotional.

This past Camp Social weekend felt different. Maybe it was the way the sun hit the lake at golden hour, or how you could hear laughter echoing across the bunks, or how total strangers became best friends within mere moments.

I spoke about how there’s this beautiful thing about flamingos, as you know, when they get older, they lose their pink. But when they’re nurtured, surrounded by warmth, joy, and community… they get it back.

That’s what I saw in you this weekend. You got your pink back. 🦩 Watching you glow inside and out reminded me exactly why I started Camp Social in the first place.

Thank you for showing up- for yourself, and for each other. 💕

ps. This summer, we are extremely proud to have supported local women shelters with all leftover goodies, drinks and food, as well as SCOPE- to send children to camp in under-resourced communities.
